Romens historia börjar i Karibien runt 1700-talet. Matlagning med Rum talar om Roms historia och inflytande pÄ Karibien, dess kultur och dess matlagning.
Olika rum kommer att vara nÀrvarande för provsmakning och smakÀmnen. Sedan vi Àr pÄ Antigua börjar vi med den prisbelönta 5-Äriga Engelska Harbour rum och sedan vidare till tre andra fantastiska mÀrken frÄn lÀnder som Barbados, Guatemala, Kuba, Jamaica och Martinique.
Maten ska introducera vÄra gÀster till hur olika rom kan anvÀndas för att smaka mat om du anvÀnder ett klassiskt mörkt rom eller en filtrerad vit.
Ta inte den hÀr klassen för att utforska nya smaker, men njut av upplevelsen att laga mat med nya vÀnner i ett vÀstindiskt hem med fantastisk utsikt över Karibiska havet!

What a fantastic cooking experience

Not only do Nicole and Adam have a beautiful home they are both extremely welcoming inviting you into it
We went for the cooking with rum experience which was absolutely brilliant, the food tasted amazing - We couldnât believe we cooked it and Adamâs knowledge of rum is second to none but I must say I preferred Nicoleâs homemade rum - a taste of Christmas in a bottle - delicious
We would highly recommend this experience itâs well worth it - gets a high 5 from us

learning to cook , and drink some rum

Nicole took the time to help cook a fabulous rum dinner . we had plantain&gava chips with dip, chicken, rice, rum cake rum punch we had soo much fun cooking and dinning with her Adam gave us a very nice rum tasting . we also stayed at the house B&B for the week what a nice place to stay tried many different beaches , they have two really nice dogs ,nice cat, and turtles and chickens the pool is very refreshing.

Amazing Cooking Class

We had the opportunity to prepare and cook a full meal (app, lunch, dessert) with Nicole during our recent visit to Antigua. The cooking class was very interactive and Nicole hosting in her house allowed for such an intimidate setting. Nicole provided printouts of the recipes allowing us to recreate and share the Antiguan flavor with our friends and family.
Nicole, and her husband who assisted with the Rum tasting, were welcoming and very friendly. We will remember this amazing time and highly suggest anyone going to the island make it a priority to sign up for their cooking class.

My husband Josh and I had the most fabulous time cooking with Nicole and tasting rum with her husband! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and funny, and taught us so much about Caribbean food and Antiguan history. If you'd like an afternoon away from the beach filled with delicious food and drinks, run (don't walk!) to sign up for Cooking with Rum. Thank you for making our honeymoon such a wonderful experience!!
Cooking with Rum - A Wonderful Experience with Nicole and Adam

Nicole and Adam welcomed us into their beautiful home with warm hospitality. Our Cooking with Rum meal included 7 dishes, each designed for us to participate in the preparation start to finish. The 4 hours flew by as we learned cooking techniques, the recipes, had a rum tutorial and tasting with Adam, then finishing the experience enjoying the company of new friends, drinking rum punch, and savoring the delicious meal. Adam was especially gracious in sharing his well curated rums, ensuring everyone left having tried something new and unique. Nicoleâs explanations of the recipes were easy to follow, and now to remember, leaving me eager to cook these new dishes for family and friends. We look forward to attending another class with Nicole the next time we return to Antigua.

We have been traveling all over the Caribbean for 25 years and have done just about every tour you can imagine and were looking for something different and fun. This experience didn't disappoint.
Nicole and Adam are lovely and kind. Their house is beautiful and inviting. The class was hands on, fun, and informative. The Rum tasting was an added bonus. I highly recommend if you have the chance.
