Eli’s Original Eco tour is Antigua’s oldest Eco tour. We spend a full day in the North Sound of Antigua where we have 22 uninhabited pristine offshore islands. Learn about the eco systems & the history of the different islands in this protected area. Also the turtle project at Jumby Bay, the reef ball system at Maiden Island, the beautiful and important Mangrove system of Guiana Island & much more. There are two snorkeling sessions (& a snorkel lesson for those who need) along with a nature walk/hike to the top of Bird Island where you might get a chance to see one our indigenous & endangered (nonpoisonous) Antigua Racer Snake. We also visit Hells Gate Island for a snorkel or a climb through a small cave-like structure that goes through the island & comes out over a natural bridge on top – seeing the Atlantic Ocean on one side & Caribbean Sea on the other. Local lunch and drinks are all included in the tour which is great for all ages!

Incredible boat tour of Antigua

This trip combines history, nature, and fun into a beautiful day out on the water. The captain and crew were incredibly knowledgeable about both the history of the island and biodiversity that is supported there. The trip is about 6 hours long and includes 3-4 stops along the way. We got the opportunity to snorkel, ate lunch at a private beach, and hiked along a gorgeous rock arch on a small island. The snorkel location had a healthy coral reef with quite a few different species of fish and pretty decent visibility. The staff was friendly and professional, the tour was well-organized, and the lunch was good. Highly recommend.

Amazing eco boat tour

Second trip with this boat.. Prompt pickup from the beach, Hreat fun informative trip and no alcohol until you've completed your water activities . Great responsible team. Excellemt chance to swim with turtles.. climb up and through hells gate and do a lottle deep water snorkelling.. Can't fault them.. Great time on 5th October.. even got the other passengers to sing happy birthday to my other half.

My letter to myself about Eli's Eco Tour

I'm writing this review as a letter to myself in the past, before I visited Antigua. Dear Dave, You booked a trip to Antigua with your beloved wife in August 2019 for summer 2020 to celebrate being married 20 years. Stupid COVID meant your flight was delayed by two years, but you will finally make it in 2022. Antigua is expensive, more than you are anticipating. You like budget travel - self catering AirBnB vs All Inclusive Resort. You will have sticker shock when you take your clothes for laundering and find out it's £20 a load. You will feel the temptation to cut your losses and just stick to the beaches. But don't. There is a boat tour called Eli's Eco Tour. The price is US $112.50 per person (make sure you book directly through the Adventure Antigua website to get a 10% discount), which will seem like a lot to you, but actually it is incredible value. First of all, because you will be at Jolly Harbour you will be the first collected at 9:15am, and the last dropped off at 4:30pm. You get extra time on the boat seeing the west and north of the island between Jolly Harbour and Dickenson Bay. You will have as crew three experienced Antiguan young men (Aryon, Jerron and Tyreese) who clearly enjoy their jobs and like people ... and each other (they will tease each other all day). You will visit several scenic and fascinating remote locations. You will climb up to and walk over a volcanic rock bridge. You will swim and snorkel a reef, and all the kit you need will be provided. You will have a filling and tasty lunch which feels homemade. You will eat well though you are vegetarian -- try the plantains and banana bread! And grab seconds too - you'll be encouraged to do so. You will have three rum punches on the way back home which will lighten your mood. You will finish your day thinking "I have just lived out one of the best days of my life." You will even buy a souvenir Adventure Antigua t-shirt to commemorate your day, which is so very much unlike you. The only tip I'd suggest is to bring a bottle of Antiguan hot sauce, because inexplicably they won't have any to go with lunch. You will assume everyone in Antigua loves hot sauce, but apparently not. Book the tour, you won't regret it. You will have the memory to cherish the rest of your life. Cheers, Dave

200% recommend

If you want to have a fun time, get some laughs & see lots of beautiful sites around Antigua go on the Eco tour!! Arian, Jron & Tyrese were the absolute best, so funny & knowledgeable!! Even if Tyrese did lose a swimming race to my son lol. The boat was very comfortable with lots of shade if needed. Lunch was good & the sky juice was the best.

Amazing tour

The tour was amazing and was the highlight of our trip. The scenery was awesome and we couldn't have got to see those by ourselves. The crew was informative, experienced, accommodating and providing great banter and entertainment. The food was out of this world, the jerk chicken and banana bread. I highly recommend!

Great Day Out

Great day touring the islands, crew were all good fun and the chicken and salad lunch was perfect, plantain was lush and the banana cake and rum punch a great way to finish off the day.
