About this activity

The Xtreme Circumnav is a full day powerboat tour that goes right around Antigua - make sure you count our 365 beaches! After passing the North Sound area, the first stop is Stingray City Marine Park where you will spend 45m-1hr in the water with these incredible rays & other marine life. We continue to Green Island, for lunch on the beach. We then head south to the historic Nelson's Dockyard (we don’t get off the boat) where the Captain points out all the colonial structures & gives a short talk. The 2nd snorkeling session is at the Pillars of Hercules, a fantastic spot where the limestone boulders enter the water at the mouth of Nelson’s Dockyard, base of the Shirley Heights cliff. The last stop is at the magnificent Rendezvous Bay, a secluded beach on the south side of the island, where you can swim, snorkel or beach comb & enjoy our homemade delicious rum punch

Great Bird Island
Birdwatching and sightseeing. The Xtreme Circumnavigation tour is a full day powerboat tour that goes right around the coastline - make sure you count our 365 beaches!!! After passing Great Bird Island and through the North Sound area, the first stop is Stingray City Marine Park.

Stingray City
1 hr - At Stingray City Marine Park you will spend the normal 45min-1hour long session in the water with these incredible stingrays & other marine life – it’s a natural reef & sandbank so there are lots of cool things to see. You can even get a chance to hold one of these magnificent animals if you choose!!

Nelson's Dockyard
After lunch on Green Island, we head south to the historic Nelson's Dockyard (we don’t get off the boat) where the Captain points out ALL the colonial structures & gives a short talk explaining what they were used for. The 2nd snorkeling session is at the Pillars of Hercules, a FANTASTIC snorkel stop where the lime stone boulders enter into the water at the mouth of the Nelson’s Dockyard – base of the Shirley Heights cliff - where you can see a colonial anchor. Pillars of Hercules
45 min - At this incredible snorkel stop, we anchor up and jump into the crystal clear water at the base of these majestic limestone pillars then extend into the ocean at the base of the famous Shirley Heights hill. Fantastic unique snorkel stop with even a colonial anchor to check out!!

Stop 5
45 min - At our last stop, we pull up onto the pristine mind-blowing secluded beach, Rendezvous Bay, and crack open our delicious homemade famous rum punch!! This totally private beach's beauty will blow your mind - have a swim, snorkel, walk or just relax on the beach while sipping on your cold mouth-watering drink.

Extreme Ride, Extremely Excellent!!

Second time we have been on this trip, in a high powered speed boat, around the beautiful island of Antigua, punctuated with beautiful stops on the way. We were picked up from Sandals, fast ride through the waves to String Ray City, a must for every visit, literally swimming over a coral reef with approx forty Rays that turn up for a daily feeding frenzy, they are very tame and NOT dangerous. Saw various sights around the island, lunch of buffet style, pasta, chicken salad and plantin, served up by the three crew on the beach and a beautiful swim in the crystal clear waters. Next stop Nelson’s Dock Yard, great visit and all the history given by the crew, snorkelling and then another deserted beach, paradise! You see the complete island, some high speed sailing and the crew thoroughly entertain you all the way, they were amazing!!! If you do only one trip, make this the one, we were picked up at 09:30hrs and returned at 16:30hrs, this was booked through Tony Gerge the beach vendor at Sandal’s, a trusted and very reliable source for all your trips. Fantastic Day On The Water

My husband and I did the Xtreme Circumnavigation trip on Aug. 29th. The team of Desmond, Tyrese and Makieva were knowledgeable about the islands, wildlife and kept us entertained throughout the day. First stop was at Sting Ray City. It was great to be able to be in the water with the rays and also to be able to snorkel and see other fish. We loved seeing Antigua from the water and experiencing the whole coastline as well as neighboring islands. The snorkeling spots we stopped at were beautiful. The little island that we ate lunch on was a great place and the lunch was delicious. I loved seeing Hell's Gate. The last little island that we stopped at to swim and have rum punch was a neat little place. I would recommend this adventure. It is a must do while in Antigua. I am looking forward to returning one day and doing The Echo Tour.

Fantastic Trip - A Must Do

Fabulous trip around the whole island in a speedboat. Stingray city, totally amazing! Desmond & Crew were so knowledgeable & gave a full breakdown of everything we saw & visited. Definitely worth the money as you saw most things Antigua has to offer in 1 trip.

A Must Do!!

100% recommend. Your missing out if you don't do this excursion. A full trip around antigua. Leslie was very knowledgeable, and Desmond can drive a boat!!. Swim with stingrays and snorkeling. Perfection

Superb

Brilliant from start to finish, a great day with the knowledgeable team. The stingray experience was amazing and being able to reach secured beaches for lunch and a little rum punch after snorkelling was great. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing

We always go on at least one boat trip when we are on holiday. This is by far the best one we have ever been on. It had it all within one trip. Speed, sightseeing, nice food, swimming with stingray, drinking rum punch. It was all fantastic. The crew was brilliant and made everyone feel welcome. They had a lot of knowledge and a good sense of humor. Would definitely do it again if we visit Antigua again.
