Le Xtreme Circumnav est une excursion d'une journĂ©e en bateau Ă moteur qui fait le tour d'Antigua - assurez-vous de compter nos 365 plages! AprĂšs avoir passĂ© la rĂ©gion de North Sound, le premier arrĂȘt est le parc marin de Stingray City oĂč vous passerez 45 Ă 1 heure dans l'eau avec ces rayons incroyables et d'autres espĂšces marines. Nous continuons vers Green Island, pour dĂ©jeuner sur la plage.
Nous nous dirigeons ensuite vers le sud vers le chantier naval historique de Nelson (nous ne descendons pas du bateau) oĂč le capitaine indique toutes les structures coloniales et donne une courte confĂ©rence. La deuxiĂšme sĂ©ance de plongĂ©e en apnĂ©e a lieu aux Pillars of Hercules, un endroit fantastique oĂč les rochers calcaires pĂ©nĂštrent dans l'eau Ă l'embouchure du chantier naval de Nelson, au pied de la falaise de Shirley Heights. Le dernier arrĂȘt est Ă la magnifique Rendezvous Bay, une plage isolĂ©e du cĂŽtĂ© sud de l'Ăźle, oĂč vous pouvez nager, faire de la plongĂ©e avec tuba ou un peigne de plage et dĂ©guster notre dĂ©licieux punch au rhum fait maison

Au parc marin de Stingray City, vous passerez la session normale de 45 minutes Ă 1 heure dans l'eau avec ces incroyables raies pastenagues et d'autres espĂšces marines - c'est un rĂ©cif naturel et un banc de sable, il y a donc beaucoup de choses cool Ă voir. Lors de cet incroyable arrĂȘt de plongĂ©e en apnĂ©e, nous jetons l'ancre et sautons dans l'eau cristalline Ă la base de ces majestueux piliers de calcaire puis nous nous Ă©tendons dans l'ocĂ©an au pied de la cĂ©lĂšbre colline de Shirley Heights. Fantastique arrĂȘt de plongĂ©e avec tuba unique avec mĂȘme une ancre coloniale Ă vĂ©rifier!!

Lors de notre dernier arrĂȘt, nous nous arrĂȘtons sur la plage isolĂ©e Ă©poustouflante et immaculĂ©e, Rendezvous Bay, et ouvrons notre dĂ©licieux punch au rhum fait maison !! La beautĂ© de cette plage totalement privĂ©e vous Ă©patera: nagez, faites de la plongĂ©e avec tuba, marchez ou dĂ©tendez-vous simplement sur la plage tout en sirotant votre boisson fraĂźche et appĂ©tissante.

Extreme Ride, Extremely Excellent!!

Second time we have been on this trip, in a high powered speed boat, around the beautiful island of Antigua, punctuated with beautiful stops on the way.
We were picked up from Sandals, fast ride through the waves to String Ray City, a must for every visit, literally swimming over a coral reef with approx forty Rays that turn up for a daily feeding frenzy, they are very tame and NOT dangerous. Saw various sights around the island, lunch of buffet style, pasta, chicken salad and plantin, served up by the three crew on the beach and a beautiful swim in the crystal clear waters. Next stop Nelsonâs Dock Yard, great visit and all the history given by the crew, snorkelling and then another deserted beach, paradise! You see the complete island, some high speed sailing and the crew thoroughly entertain you all the way, they were amazing!!! If you do only one trip, make this the one, we were picked up at 09:30hrs and returned at 16:30hrs, this was booked through Tony Gerge the beach vendor at Sandalâs, a trusted and very reliable source for all your trips.

Fantastic Day On The Water

My husband and I did the Xtreme Circumnavigation trip on Aug. 29th. The team of Desmond, Tyrese and Makieva were knowledgeable about the islands, wildlife and kept us entertained throughout the day.
First stop was at Sting Ray City. It was great to be able to be in the water with the rays and also to be able to snorkel and see other fish.
We loved seeing Antigua from the water and experiencing the whole coastline as well as neighboring islands. The snorkeling spots we stopped at were beautiful.
The little island that we ate lunch on was a great place and the lunch was delicious. I loved seeing Hell's Gate. The last little island that we stopped at to swim and have rum punch was a neat little place.
I would recommend this adventure. It is a must do while in Antigua. I am looking forward to returning one day and doing The Echo Tour.

Fabulous trip around the whole island in a speedboat. Stingray city, totally amazing! Desmond & Crew were so knowledgeable & gave a full breakdown of everything we saw & visited.
Definitely worth the money as you saw most things Antigua has to offer in 1 trip.

Brilliant from start to finish, a great day with the knowledgeable team. The stingray experience was amazing and being able to reach secured beaches for lunch and a little rum punch after snorkelling was great. Highly recommended.

We always go on at least one boat trip when we are on holiday. This is by far the best one we have ever been on. It had it all within one trip. Speed, sightseeing, nice food, swimming with stingray, drinking rum punch. It was all fantastic. The crew was brilliant and made everyone feel welcome. They had a lot of knowledge and a good sense of humor. Would definitely do it again if we visit Antigua again.

Desmond, Tyrese and Rasheem, thank you for an amazing experience! We completely agree with all the rave reviews and are so happy we reserved this particular excursion. We spent the whole day on the water, touring the border of the entire island and learning so much history along the way. Had such a fun time at Sting Ray City, cruising the waters, snorkeling and canât forget the banana bread and rum punch. Thank you for a truly wonderful day!

The trip was amazing ! From the staff to the food and drinks. This a must do excursion in Antigua. The staff is so kind. I got motion sick and they made sure I felt better before continue the trip. The desserts are the best especially the banana bread.
Although not cheap it is actually good value for money and an enjoyable trip

This is a great boat trip but also so much more. The visit to the Stingrays is limited to this company other than the sting ray boats themselves so you get extra value out of the trip. The guys on the boat are knowledgeable and they share information throughout the tour. Food on the beach is good and drinks served at lunch and also towards the end of the trip.

We were picked up on the beach of the hotel we stayed at, so be aware you will need to walk out to the boat and climb a ladder (they are on -hand to help so don't be put off).
You may get wet if you sit at the back, and a little bumpy at the front but its great fun!

Leslie, Desmond, and Makefa (sp?) were great! Very knowledgeable, helpful, funny. Lunch-delish, Desmond is a great captain and navigated the reefs and ground swells with ease.

it seems to be a little expensive, but worth the money. not having to take a bus to the start was great - picked up right at the beach (Royalton). the ride IS extreme and the Atlantic side had massive waves to ride through. snorkeling we actually saw a turtle in the Bay. the Stingrays are incredible. you actually get to see the entire island in a single day! and learn a lot about the history. do not bring shoes as they are not needed and you have to remove before entering the boat. the guide (Leslie) and the Captain (Desmond) do a great job and we appreciated the experience and care. one bit of advice is the best seats are on the right side right behind the Captain. You will get soaked when you start hitting the waves and its hard to keep your hat on :) you may even want to bring goggles as the spray can be intense.
If you book online you get a 10% discount. they will charge a deposit to your card but must pay the remainder in CASH. this saved us approx $40 US.

What a fantastic boat tour and adventure!!!

What a great tour!! Boat picked us up right on the beach at our resort (Royalton Antigua). The fun began right away ... a powerful 3 engine outboard jetted us out into the Caribbean and on to pick up more passengers at other resorts. Our Captain (Desmond) was a well seasoned seaman and knew how to handle the craft, especially when we got to the other side of the island and were dealing with the 8-10 foot Atlantic Ocean swells (it's called Xtreme for a good reason!!). Leslie, one of our guides kept up a running commentary of sites and island history for those in the back of the boat while McKeva, the other guide, did the same for the passengers in the front. The boat held about 20 passengers comfortably. We went to Stingray City to have a personal stingray adventure then on to a deserted island for a great lunch of BBQ chicken, pasta salad, tossed salad and banana bread, fruit juices included. At the island you could sun or swim but stay out of the brush on shore!! Antigua has these nasty grass burrs that stick to everything, including bare feet and many of us, me included, ended up hobbling back to the beach to pluck them out ... which then stuck to your fingers!! Nasty!! After lunch we headed to English Harbour and the Pillars of Hercules. Leslie kept up his commentary pointing out sites of interest, celebrity homes, island culture and history. At English Harbour we were lucky enough to find a turle and snorkel with it as well as explore a couple of shipwrecks. Then back up the east coast to another beach where we stopped for rum punch and more banana bread. You could get out and swim there too but a sunshower passed over us so almost everyone stayed on board to enjoy the punch. Then back to the resort to be dropped off at the beach, and again, Leslie explained more sights along the way. Can't thank Leslie enough for his encyclopedic knowledge of Antigua. Special thanks to Desmond for his skillful handling of the boat and effectively feathering the engines thru the swells. And big thank you as well to McKeva for helping us on and off the boat and storing all our carry-on items. Do yourself a favour and book this tour. Lasted just over 6 hours, an excellent adventure, a great way to see and learn about the island and a great crew that kept us safe, fed, hydrated (hic) and entertained. One final note, don't expect to stay dry, it's an Xtreme Circumnavigation!! For me it just made it all the more fun! Many passengers used their snorkel masks to combat the boat spray ... worked well ... so be prepared.

We have done many a catamaran trip on other holidays but none compared to this speedboat trip around Antigua.
Captain Desomnd and his crewmen Tyrese and Lesley were friendly and so knowledgeable of the local history, we stopped at stingray city which was amazing, then went on to a further point to snorkel. All snorkel equipment was provided as part of the trip if you did not have your own.
Lunch was included and we ate on one of the beaches, the food was tasty and of a high quality. We thoroughly enjoyed.
We went on to another snorkeling location before a beach stop to enjoy some rum punch and banana bread, before heading back to our hotel.
This was an excellent way to take in the sights around the coastline of this beautiful country and we would highly recommend. It is bumpy, which is expected on a speedboat, and you will get wet - but that added to the experience and very much part of the fun.

Exciting boat trip

A really great boat trip around the island with a wonderful crew of 3. The boat goes fast & a lot of the time you are not close to the coast but we loved it. Beware you do get wet , especially if you sit at the back & at the front it can be very bumpy but we found the whole trip exhilarating . Lovely lunch stop on Green island & really enjoyed holding the stingrays in Stingray city. Very informative trip especially when we went to English harbour & were given a history lesson .Final stop is on a west coast beach where we were given banana bread & rum punch. It is an expensive trip but would definitely recommend it .
