Good grief it’s a Reef

This trip was made up of three parts the first part was the 4x 4 trip around the island which was excellent although there was only four of us .Our guide really know his stuff
It was the second part that I really rated very dangerous we were picked up by the catamaran off a beach which was not planned it was an adventure just getting on. We the proceeded to the snorkelling off a reef the bells should have been ringing when the skipper said there was a rescue boat in the water, my wife is an excellent swimmer but she had trouble swimming closer to the reef because of strong currents,she was not the only one.
Some warnings should have been made to make people aware of potential problems I chickened out about fifty yards out
The third element of the day was the catamaran trip around part of the island which was one great party the crew was great for this part of the day lunch was good if you had the chicken but sadly not the lobster

Land and Sea

The first part of the island tour, our driver Les was informative but you couldn’t absorb all the information because it felt rushed! The 4x4 was very uncomfortable throughout this journey and the dealt belts did not work! We then went on the cruise, all the guys were great, respectful and accommodating. Tip: Make sure you organise an upgrade for lunch to Lobster BEFORE you set sail otherwise it’s too late!
This excursion is definitely value for money but we have booked another sightseeing tour as this information was felt to be missing!

The "Land" could not live up to the "Sea"

Tour Company - Was great. On time pick up (they were early).
Land Portion - This was the worst tour ever. The tour guide tried to keep it interesting but there was really nothing going on to show us. I mean it got so desperate that he showed us the building of a Parking lot and a Cement Factory.
During the ride we must have stopped at least 10 times to look and flowers, herbs, and churches.
The tour guide tried as best he could to keep us entertain. He had water and juice for everyone.
Sea Portion -AMAZING. This was the best part of the tour. The guides were great, always had a drink in hand. The music was pumping and drinks were flowing. Made a few stops to snorkel and just chill in the water. AMAZING!!
If the tour was a bit less expensive, it would be worth it, but the Land portion of the tour is basically a cab ride to the Sea Portion.
Again, Tour Company Great, Sea Portion, Amazing. Land portion was MEH!!
