La historia del ron comienza en el Caribe alrededor del siglo XVII. Cooking with Rum habla sobre la historia y la influencia del ron en el Caribe, su cultura y su cocina. Varios rones estarán presentes para probar y aromatizar los alimentos. Ya que estamos en Antigua, comenzaremos con el galardonado ron English Harbour de 5 años de la isla y luego pasaremos a otras tres magníficas marcas de países como Barbados, Guatemala, Cuba, Jamaica y Martinica. La comida presentará a nuestros invitados cómo varios rones se pueden usar para dar sabor a los alimentos ya sea que esté usando un ron oscuro clásico o un blanco filtrado. ¡Aprovecha esta clase no solo para explorar nuevos sabores, sino para disfrutar de la experiencia de cocinar con nuevos amigos en una casa de las Indias Occidentales con una gran vista del Mar Caribe!

What a fantastic cooking experience

Not only do Nicole and Adam have a beautiful home they are both extremely welcoming inviting you into it We went for the cooking with rum experience which was absolutely brilliant, the food tasted amazing - We couldn’t believe we cooked it and Adam’s knowledge of rum is second to none but I must say I preferred Nicole’s homemade rum - a taste of Christmas in a bottle - delicious We would highly recommend this experience it’s well worth it - gets a high 5 from us Thank you see you again soon

learning to cook , and drink some rum

Nicole took the time to help cook a fabulous rum dinner . we had plantain&gava chips with dip, chicken, rice, rum cake rum punch we had soo much fun cooking and dinning with her Adam gave us a very nice rum tasting . we also stayed at the house B&B for the week what a nice place to stay tried many different beaches , they have two really nice dogs ,nice cat, and turtles and chickens the pool is very refreshing.

Words are enough , for this if you get a chance to do this , please do , from the moment you arrive till the moment you Leave ,You will have the experience of a lifetime from the food to the drinks ,view and most of all being treated like family .You won’t be sorry on this one … Nicole Thank you from the bottom of my heart … much love let’s go colts!!!

Amazing Cooking Class

We had the opportunity to prepare and cook a full meal (app, lunch, dessert) with Nicole during our recent visit to Antigua. The cooking class was very interactive and Nicole hosting in her house allowed for such an intimidate setting. Nicole provided printouts of the recipes allowing us to recreate and share the Antiguan flavor with our friends and family. Nicole, and her husband who assisted with the Rum tasting, were welcoming and very friendly. We will remember this amazing time and highly suggest anyone going to the island make it a priority to sign up for their cooking class.

Cooking with all the Rum!!

My husband Josh and I had the most fabulous time cooking with Nicole and tasting rum with her husband! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and funny, and taught us so much about Caribbean food and Antiguan history. If you'd like an afternoon away from the beach filled with delicious food and drinks, run (don't walk!) to sign up for Cooking with Rum. Thank you for making our honeymoon such a wonderful experience!!

Cooking with Rum - A Wonderful Experience with Nicole and Adam

Nicole and Adam welcomed us into their beautiful home with warm hospitality. Our Cooking with Rum meal included 7 dishes, each designed for us to participate in the preparation start to finish. The 4 hours flew by as we learned cooking techniques, the recipes, had a rum tutorial and tasting with Adam, then finishing the experience enjoying the company of new friends, drinking rum punch, and savoring the delicious meal. Adam was especially gracious in sharing his well curated rums, ensuring everyone left having tried something new and unique. Nicole’s explanations of the recipes were easy to follow, and now to remember, leaving me eager to cook these new dishes for family and friends. We look forward to attending another class with Nicole the next time we return to Antigua.
